Easy Roasted Asparagus

 

Roasting is probably the easiest and most mess-free way to cook your veggies and asparagus is no exception!

After experimenting with different roasting temperatures, baking modes, and baking time, I found SkinnyTaste’s recipe for roasted asparagus and nailed it.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 bunches asparagus, with ends snapped

  • 1 tablespoon olive or avocado oil, or olive or avocado oil spray

  • 1/2 tsp salt + pepper

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Arrange the asparagus spears evenly on the baking sheet. Drizzle the oil over or spray the asparagus spears evenly with oil spray. Lightly salt and pepper the spears to desired amount.

  • Cook the spears for 10-12 minutes, or until tender.

  • Serve warm or store in glass.
